San Diego Latino Film Festival and The Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation are proud to present an exciting FREE movie showcase: The Market Creek Summer Film Series! Acclaimed Hollywood and Latino-themed box office hits will be screened throughout August outdoors in a family friendly environment. Each movie will be preceded by a special pre-show performance from a local community group or entertainer.

Join us at the Market Creek Amphitheater on Fridays: August 1, 8, 15, and 22 at 7pm. Feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs and other amenities to make your outdoor screening experience a comfortable one.

August 8: Instructions Not Included (2013, Mexico/U.S.A)

A  man who has made a new life for himself and the daughter left on his doorstep 6 years before, finds his family threatened when the birth mother resurfaces. Starring Eugenio Derbez.

August 15: Pulling Strings (2013, Mexico) 

After a night of drinking, Rachel, a diplomat working in Mexico City finds her world turned upside down after she's saved by Alejandro, a Mariachi singer whose visa was rejected the day before - by Rachel. Starring Jaime Camil & Omar Chaparro.
