Based on "Bodas de sangre" by Federico García Lorca, this film tells the story of a love triangle between two men and a woman.  The same day of her wedding, the bride and her lover escape on horseback to live their love. Their action will have devastating consequences. The film was nominated for 12 Goya Awards, Spain's equivalent to the Oscars, including Best Picture. Selected by the Miami Film Festival.
