Three Mexican films have been included in the 2016 edition. Let Me Go by Giuliana Tommasi is the story of Frida and Adrián, a couple who live their relationship longing for the past. The Tomb, a short film directed by Maru Morón Iglesias, shows us the lives of Ricardo and Luis who have been imprisoned for several months now inside “La Tumba”, 5 floors of underground jail, where they receive “white torture”. Finally, Laberinto en Espiral (Spiral Labyrinth) takes us inside the mind of an artist going through a creative crisis that impedes him from painting or communicating with the outside world.
