Cine+Mas SF is co-presenting five films with the San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival:

Carmin Tropical, Mexico
This noir-mystery of crime and passion delves deep into the heart, mind, and soul of Mabel, a Mexican muxe (transwoman) who revives past demons when she comes face to face with the people, places, and memories of a faraway life.

A escondidas (Hidden Away), Spain
A cross-cultural friendship between a restless Spanish teen and an undocumented Moroccan immigrant grows into something much more profound, as their story. This story of clandestine first love unfolds in non-linear fashion against a suspenseful and wrenching social justice backdrop.

En la gama de los grisas (In the Grayscale), Chile
This sensitive romantic drama puts a delicate and mature twist on the classic coming-out story. Filmed in Santiago, Chile, it follows an emotionally ill-at-ease, married architect's journey of sexual discovery, which switches into high gear after he meets an intriguing gay man.

Liz en Septiembre (Liz in September), Venezuela
A tight-knit group of lesbian friends are enjoying their annual vacation on a beautiful Caribbean beach when Eva, a straight stranger, crashes the party. On a dare, the group's heartbreaker Liz launches a seduction, with results that surprise them both.

Mariposa (Butterfly), Argentina
This sexy drama follows a group of Argentinian friends and lovers along two parallel storylines, each set in motion by one decisive act that creates vastly different romantic and erotic outcomes.
