This year will be the 18th for Austin's Cine Las Americas.  The festival showcases contemporary films and videos from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. 

Opening night film will be Martini Shot, an indepedent U.S. Latino film. Closing night will be Uruguayan hit Mr. Kaplan.
