This Brazilian animated film follows Cuca, a small boy from the country, as he embarks on a journey to the big city to find his father. Entirely wordless, the narrative describes a clash between poor and rich, countryside and city, indigenous and imperial, handcrafted and mechanized, with a soundtrack of lush Brazilian music.
