Mexican documentary El cuarto desnudo (The Naked Room) examines the rarely-explored world of young children suffering from mental illnesses. The film takes place entirely in a therapist's office in a Mexico City hospital, allowing the children and their families to speak for themselves.
The director, Nuria Ibáñez, discusses the process and aims of the film in ArtForum.
