Jodorowsky's Dune

This documentary shines some light at Alejandro Jodorowsky’s long time coming, but never filmed version of Frank Herbert’s mammoth sci-fi epic "Dune". Having achieved a successful reputation in the early seventies with El Topo and The Holy Mountain, Jodorowsky next attempted to tackle the “unfilmable” Dune universe, in which he spent several years and millions of dollars in pre- production, only to have the project cancelled. It demonstrates a comprehensive overview of every phase of the project and explores Jodorowsky’s career. Jodorowsky's Dune is the alluring film fans have been waiting for.
