Washington's Brazilian Embassy presents a week of new Brazilian cinema at E Street Cinemas. Music documentaries, children's films, and feature films are all included and all screenings are free to the public.

Highlights include:

O Menino e o Mundo (The Boy and the World)
An animated children's film about a young boy searching for his father and discovering the world.

Criancas da Amazonia (Children of the Amazon)
A documentary about a photographer who returns to the Amazon looking for the children she had photographed there fifteen years earlier.
