In partnership with the Chicago Park District, ILCC presents Film in the Park/Cine en el Parque. The series runs throughout the summer, and features family-friendly films projected on large screens in various citywide parks for free. This program’s goal is to bring film to various underserved communities in Chicago. The films screened are selected from the annual Chicago Latino Film Festival. One highlight: 

Como en el Cine (Just Like in the Movies), Peru
After finding out that his girlfriend cheated him under his own Star Wars bed sheets, Nico decides to go back to his true love, recruiting his old college friends to make a low budget short film. Nico and his small crew will face a series of absurd situations in this irreverent comedy that will delight the hardcore movie lover.
