Featured in the film are renowned writers such as Mario Vargas Llosa, Jorge Edwards, Elena Poniatowska, Juan Villoro or Pere Gimferrer, among others. The documentary reviews the decisive milestones of his life and literary production since, as Octavio Paz himself stated, the true biography of a poet is not to be found in the events of his life but in his work.
