The much-anticipated, Diego Luna-directed biopic is finally hitting theaters across the country.
Directed by Diego Luna and starring Michael Peña as the iconic labor leader, Cesar Chavez, the film chronicles the birth of a movement to fight for a living wage for America’s farm workers. Together with Dolores Huerta (played by Rosario Dawson) Chavez founded the United Farm Workers a labor union that organized boycotts and hunger strikes. Finally, this important part of Latino history will be memorialized on the big screen. The movie also features America Ferrera and John Malkovich.
